The India Behavioural Economics Fest ’23!

India’s largest Behavioural Economics event ever is happening in Bangalore this year!!

Event lineup:

The fest has started off with a fireside chat featuring behavioural economist Dilip Soman. Starting off with the history, and future of behavioural science, the discussion covered topics including ‘how to get into behavioural science’, ‘should tech companies hire behavioural scientists’, ‘how a scene from Harry Potter inspired Dilip to write a research paper’ and ‘what methods one can explore while researching behavioural science’.


Nudgeathon ’23, the behavioural science hackathon will be flagged off at the IISc, Bengaluru on the 12th of August. This hackathon will bring together top talent, including students, researchers, and industry professionals, to collaboratively solve real-world problems using behavioural economics frameworks.


The fest will end with a corporate+academic conference on the 9th of September at the St. Joseph’s College of Commerce, Bengaluru. This conference will feature distinguished speakers, engaging panel discussions, and presentations showcasing cutting-edge research and practical applications in behavioural economics. There will also be activity stalls, posters and interactive exhibits!
